non-root user ssh access?

Is it possible to have user level (non-root) ssh access to an NVX or U4+?

Re: non-root user ssh access?

I have not seen any other SSH access tools aside from RootSSH and ToggleSSH for these models. So I doubt if it is possible.

Re: non-root user ssh access?

You could set those up via root SSH. Why do you want that?

Re: non-root user ssh access?

It is just a Linux box -- so you should be able to modify the correct files to let a user authenticate. If you don't know how to make those kinds of modifications, you might not want to be enabling backend access.

Re: non-root user ssh access?

I'd like to enable user level ssh access for other people on my local network as well as others coming in over a VPN tunnel.

I'd like to give them ssh access to something without having to get another full blown computer.

Re: non-root user ssh access?

Well as mentioned you can do it modifying the correct files. You would need root SSH access to modify these files.
