Do you know why?

What app are you using to access the NAS?

Re: problem with android

I am using ES File explorer to access to the movies and watch with my tablet and I am using Sonos to play my music.

It's really strange; it seams that these app don't see anymore my network shares and sometime I can't access to the ReadyNAS admin page also from my pc

Re: problem with android

Web access should always be working.

Perhaps install a ping app on the phone, and make sure that the phone can ping the NAS.

Re: problem with android

Are you using NAS account credentials or guest access?

Re: problem with android

for what?

I insert the NAS credentials only when I open the admin page.

I really don't understand what's happening.

I can't open the admin page from my tablet but I can open from my pc.

I can ping the NAS from my tablet and from my phone

I can see and open the file into NAS from my windows pc but not from Android device.

In this way I can't use my Sonon anymore

Re: problem with android

some time I can't open the admin page also from my pc even if I am able to open the files of the NAS from my pc.

It seams a blackout on the connection for some seconds then I can connect again.

I have also these blackout when I use the video player connect to the net and play the movies from the NAS.

It stopped for some seconds and I need to wait for play again

Then you are using "guest" access to access the shares.  Microsoft has been making some changes in how they handle guest access - I don't know if apps like ES File Explorer are following suit or not.  In general, it is getting harder to access shares that way.  I've been recommending moving away from guest access for a while now - using NAS account credentials when accessing the NAS shares. You could create a NAS user account for this, or just use the built-in admin account you already have. In windows you'd enter them in the Windows Credential Manager.  There is a also a way to enter them in ES File Explorer (though I haven't used that particular app in quite a while - I use Solid Explorer myself).

Though the PC and Sonos issues suggest that something might be going wrong with the network.  Is the PC that works connected with ethernet or wifi?

What model is the tablet?  Are you using the vendor's built-in browser on the mobile devices, or have you installed Chrome or FireFox?

Also, what firmware is running on the ReadyNAS?

Re: problem with android

I have 2 pc, one connected via ethernet the other via wifi, both are working and have access to the NAS without any problem

The tablet is a Samsung SM-T805 I have installed Chrome.

The ReadyNAS is running 6.9.3

Re: problem with android

Can you benchmark the NAS speed with NasTester on the PC that connects over ethernet?  http://www.808.dk/?code-csharp-nas-performance

Also, did you try resetting the file permissions on the NAS shares?

Re: problem with android

How I can reset the file permission on the NAS share?

The most important issue in this moment is not only the access with android equipment but is the problem that I have when I use a mediaplayer connected via ethernet to the NAS. It happen now that after 10 minutes that I am watching a movie it stop by itself and I need to restart again from the beginning. It seams that the NAS or the ethernet has a blackout for a second and lost the connection.

Does somebody had an issue like this on the past?

Well, again I recommend using NAS credentials when you access the shares (easy to test, using your existing admin account on the NAS).

You can reset the file permissions by clicking on the share settings wheel, choosing "settings".  Then click on "file access", and "reset".  There will be a "reset permissions" button you need to click in order to confirm the change.

What mediaplayer?  Do you know what protocol it is using the access the NAS (likely either DLNA or SMB).

What services do you have running, and what apps are installed?  Also, what firmware is running on the NAS?
