putname+10 error after 6.9.4 upgrade... :(

Hi All

I've just  updated to 6.9.4 and now have an error "putname+10" on the lcd screen after 40 minutes of waiting 😞

What do i, do I switch it off and hope it reboots back up??

Anny advice would be great!!!!

That's probably all you can do right now.

Great.

I am guessing you don't have a backup of the NAS.  If that's true, you should put a backup plan in place.

Hi

No I have a full backup but it's just a pain to go through all the setup and copying 12 TB of files 😞

I have run into this as well. Seems if you use Bonded adapters or if you change the MTU after upgrading to 6.9.4 on RN104 you get this error. Looks like a memory overwrite and some bad code to me.

If you bring up the Boot Menu (paper clip on Reset hole / button on back and then hit Power Button) and reinstall firmware, it should put you back at network defaults (and the default password, too, just as a heads up) ... at which point you should have a machine that works (at least until you try to tweak the Network settings at which point it will die immediately.).
