remote readynas user id

Hi everyone, I was using the remote readynas app on my iphone to access my readynas 102. For whatever reason there was some conflict and I couldn't see my readynas, it said make sure you have grated the user access in the remote readynas addon (I did becuase it previously worked). After trying the usual trouble shooting, rebooting, turning readycloud, readynas, off then back on I logged into remote.readynas.com and deleted my account hoping to add it back. Now when I try to recreate it I get the constant The User already exists, please try again. I have tried using different e-mail addresses with the same user name but nothing works. Is there a time frame for when user names can be resused (6 months, 1 year, etc.)? Thanks.

Re: remote readynas user id

I think there is a timeframe before the user is deleted permanently. If you login using the user you deleted it will reactivate that user.

Re: remote readynas user id

Hi mdgm, thanks for your reply. I have tried using the user name I deleted at https://remote.readynas.com/login.jsp but get invalid ID or password. I deleted this less than 12 hours ago. I also tried to recover my user name or password as if I forgot it, but when I enter the information and hit recover it just flashes red. I also tried to create a new account using the same user id, e-mail and password but then get the user already exists message. I was just wondering if I have to wait x amount of time before I can reuse the user name? I.e. I know google never, but some log ins it can be a couple of months (hp eprint is 6 months). Just wondering if netgear had something similar.
