using iscsi with dfs
i have a need to do a cloud backup of my NAS. I use Backblaze and they will only back up drives that are attached to my computer. I have created an iscsi drive and attached to my computer and backblaze will back up fine. Can I do something like use DFS with iscsi to back up the non-iscsi NAS data on my array? Is there another way to make my NAS appear as a local drive?

Re: using iscsi with dfs
I don't think DFS will do anything useful here.
CrashPlan will back up a network share (or the NAS volume) when it is mounted as a drive letter (and if Crashplan is installed in user mode). That might be worth a try with BackBlaze.

Re: using iscsi with dfs
Drive letters don't work but I am going to try to create a symbolic link to a NAS share in my iscsi connection to see if that will work.
