Any news around MySQL version 5.6
Any progress moving latest version of MySQL into official repository?
I've previously upgraded from MySQL 5.5 → 5.6 on WAMP and have good experience with it. Version 5.6 has better performance and finally implements usable spatial functions. I hope to improve performance on my ARM based ReadyNAS. Did anyone tried it under ReadyNAS OS6? And if so, what was the result?

Re: Any news around MySQL version 5.6
Currently there is version 5.5.31 in repo. It's possible to download .deb package and install/upgrade manually on x86 architecture, but I dont have much experience with ARM so far, would rather wait til version 5.6 bubbles into official repo.
