Balance - 1% for hours
I started balancing, but it seems to have corrupted my drive. After rebooting it just hangs at Balancing Data 1% for hours. Is there anything I can do to cancel it?

Re: Balance - 1% for hours
I'm having the same issue, just stuck at 16% not 1. Just upgraded to OS 6.4 and attempted a balance on my RN516. No activity on the drives either.

Do you have spindown enabled? If so, maybe disable for a while.

Re: Balance - 1% for hours
Disk spindown is enabled (after 45 mins); but I can't disable it as I can't access the admin page...even RAIDar doesn't see the drive.

Re: Balance - 1% for hours
I've found that if I force shutdown the RN by holding down the power button (don't like doing this but have no option) and then reboot; there is a small window of about two minutes after it has booted up again (is taking a very long time to boot, >10 minutes) when I can access the admin page before the drive crashes again and I lose access. If I go to the System>Volumes page in that time I see the message "Balancing in progress. 0% complete".
What can I do in that small window of access to disable the disk balancing?
