Cabinet for ReadyNAS RN212 2 bay
Just got my ReadyNAS for my home server (mainly for classical music). While it is quiet, it's not quiet enough. Any recommendations for a small soundproofing cabinet? Everything online seems to be for much larger server racks. Or I could just move it to another room, but I'd also like a physical lock so a cabinet would still be necessary. Thanks!

Re: Cabinet for ReadyNAS RN212 2 bay
I think moving it to another spot is the best option. Soundproofed electronic cabinets I see on line are quite expensive (costing much more then the ReadyNAS).
Small server cabinets are much cheaper. But as far as security goes, one challenge with using a small cabinet is that someone can potentially take the entire cabinet if it isn't anchored somehow. The RN212 does have a slot for a kennsington lock, but unfortunately that doesn't secure the hard drives - so it is pretty worthless.

Thanks. Yes I'm moving it. Agreed on the enclosure although I also wanted simply to stop party guests etc sticking a memory stick in it!
