How do you get to \var from windows?
Hi guys,
Title explains it really... I have setup admin access to the c drive, but don't know how to get access to the linux directories from windows?
The reason I need access is that I don't think transmission has uninstalled properly and so is bust every time i install it... and i'm pretty sure i need to delete files that i currently can't access.
Thanks,
crabby

You would need to setup ssh access to the NAS and use a client like putty on your PC.

After logging in via SSH, take a look at /etc/frontview/addons. If there's still a .remove script for Transmission, run it.
Edit: to enable SSH, you'll need to install EnableRootSSH: http://www.readynas.com/?p=4203

To be more specific, you can't directly access any of the linux/system directories from windows.
use ssh/putty or winscp
