Internal PSU for RND-4D RN10400 Where can I find one
Hi,
I need to find a new Internal
PSU for a readynas RND-4D RN10400
The problem is that the unit will not power on properly. Sometimes if you wiggle the connector into the machine you get power, so maybe a poor connection somewhere. The external adapter seems to be working ok.
This is a 4pin power unit.
Thank you.

I don't think there is an "internal PSU" - just a connector for the power brick.
Is the unit under warranty? That is three years for the original purchaser.

Thanks.
Is there a part number for the connector?

Netgear doesn't provide a repair service or sell parts - they just RMA the unit if it fails under warranty.
I believe the connector itself is a common component, but I don't how easy it would be to replace it.

If you can wiggle the connector and get it to work, the problem is most likely not in the supply, but the connector on the NAS -- quite possibly a broken solder joint. If you want to try another supply, others have reported that the LI SHIN 0219B1280 works. It's a 12V supply, but uses a different connector than most to prevent the use of a supply with less than 90W capability.
