Is it possible to run JBOD with more than one disk in - for example - a ReadyNAS 102?
Yes. You would need to disable X-RAID, destroy the existing volume and create the ones you want.
If the NAS is used for primary storage you should backup the data regularly.With JBOD if a disk fails you will lose data and need to do a restore from backup.
