Re: Lost Data on ReadyNAS Duo
Data is almost certainly gone.
Please don't post your serial number on the forum.
What was the setting for "Disable Journaling" under System > Performance in Frontview?
Did you have the CIFS recycle bin enabled on the share? Were you connected to the share via CIFS (e.g. \\ip.address.of.nas)

Re: Lost Data on ReadyNAS Duo
removed my SN from prior post.
first box --> deactivate complete data journaling --> is checked
second box --> Disable Journaling --> is not checked.
I`ve been connected via CFIS - but the recycle bin option is not activated
no chance to get this data back ? seriously ? even if i buy something, pay anyone whatever ?

Re: Lost Data on ReadyNAS Duo
Highly unlikely, I think.
You could contact NetGear tech support (http://www.readynas.com/support) and see what they have to say.
I suggest you backup your important data in future.
