I have lost the power adapter for my NAS model number rn10400-100nas. Can someone tell me the part number? Searching Ebay and Google for the power adapter without a number is useless.
Thanks!

Hi Littleolme,
332-10581-01 is PADPT,12VDC,7.5A
It is external PSU, check this for example

Here's one from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/MicroBattery-incl-power-332-10581-01-Netgear/dp/B00KIH1NKQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=appare...

Re: Need a new power adapter for rn10400-100nas
Hello Littleolme,
Sorry let me take this back, I thought I saw RND4000.
The right power supply part is 332-10581-01 and 332-10363-02
Please disregard my previous reply

Re: Need a new power adapter for rn10400-100nas
Jenn, That doesn't look correct as 332-10581-01 appears to be an internal power supply. What I am looking for is an external brick with four prongs on one end and a three prong power cord (USA).

Re: Need a new power adapter for rn10400-100nas
There is an external brick with part number 332-10581-01 also.
Here's a picture: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Original-12V-7-5A-332-10581-01-Power-Supply-AC-Adapter-for-NETGEAR-/1514...
If you end up going with a third-party adapter, you might find it easier to search on CAM090121 - http://www.laptop-battery.co/black-ac-adapter/4-PIN-DIN-LI-SHIN-0219B1280-CAM090121/A20994.htm
Though I've never bought one from a third party, and there is probably some risk.

That is a 12V 5 amp brick with a single plug. This NAS uses 12v 7 amps and has a four prong plug.

Re: Need a new power adapter for rn10400-100nas
Okay, thanks Jenn. When you search for 332-10581-01 on Ebay there are several listings that show an internal power supply with the incorrect part number in the description.
Nobody on Ebay is selling one and that Amazon listing is $125 which is beyond ridiculous. I guess I will search around to see if I can find a generic replacement of some sort.

Have you tried with the support center?
If the unit has warranty, they would ship you a replacement PSU for free. You can also buy from them.

Re: Need a new power adapter for rn10400-100nas
I just did that. I had forgotten that I actually registered this NAS. I usually don't register new hardware - glad I did in this case. We will see what they say.
Thanks.
