Network issues after 6.7.3 firmware upgrade!
After uptdating to firmware 6.7.3 my NAS looses network connection constantly. I get 10 good pings and then 2 time outs.
Before the update all was working fine.
Please help me.

Re: Network issues after 6.7.3 firmware upgrade!
I split this into it's own topic, as the upgrade itself was successful.
Are you using both NICs in the RN314? If so, what bonding mode are you using?
Do you have jumbo frames enabled?
Also what is the path you are using for the ping test?
- wifi->router->ethernet
- ethernet->switch->ethernet
- ethernet->powerline->router->ethernet
- etc

Bonding mode: Adaptive Load Balancing
MTU 1500
I ping over a VPN tunnel.
The webinterface is not functioning good. I says often reconnecting to interface.

Does it work better if you temporarily remove one of the ethernet cables?
Also, how is it performing on the local LAN?

Over the local LAN same problem.
The NAS is used for local back-ups. The back-up software (Altaro) also losses connection constantly to the NAS.
I can't remove a cable, because it is located in our datacenter and i'm not there.

I think you need to test w/o the bond.
Can you try "active-backup" instead of ALB? That should only use one link.
If you have ssh access, it might be instructive to look at the packet stats. You could also look on the switch perhaps.

Re: Network issues after 6.7.3 firmware upgrade!
I changed the bond to active back-up eth0 as priary now.
I enabled SSH an logged in, but what command do i use for the packet stats?

Re: Network issues after 6.7.3 firmware upgrade!
ifconfig and netstat -i will both work.
Though if it works well with active-backup, then that suggests the problem might be the bond, and not the ethernet itself.

Re: Network issues after 6.7.3 firmware upgrade!
ETH0 was working fine without time outs.
I made ETH1 primary and now i lost the connection to the NAS completly.

Ouch. You likely will need someone on-site to remove the cable then. If that isn't enough, then you will need to do an OS reinstall.
I've seen one other post here from someone who lost an ethernet port after they upgraded, so it might be worth following up with @Skywalker (asking him in a PM if he wants to take a look). But you will need to get the NAS on line first.

You could perhaps try USB Boot Recovery with ReadyNAS OS 6.7.4 which is now available!

Re: Network issues after 6.7.3 firmware upgrade!
I will look at the possible solutions when i made the trip to the Datacentre.
For now we have a workarund for our backups in place.
Thx all so far.
