PS3/ReadyDLNA v1.0.25 support max 6 levels of subdirectories

There seemed to be a limitation with PS3 or ReadyDLNA v1.0.25 not able to support more than 6 levels of sub-directories.

I use sub-directories to categorise and store my photos and video, and not able to access sub-directories beyond level 6 is an issue.

I came across this thread describing similar problem:

Does anybody know whether this is a problem in PS3 or ReadyDLNA? Any configuration I can change to allow more than 6 levels of sub-directories?

It seems to be no problem on my NV V2,I created more then 6 levels of sub directories,rescanning job is able to detecting all media files.

what firmware are you using?

Have you tried to rescan your media

Downgrade the OS and DLNA this should fix your problem.

Problem most likely with PS3. I can see all sub-folders on my Samsung TV.

Will search PS3 forum for answers.
