Hi, I just upgraded my ReadyNAS 104 from 6.2.4 to 6.4.0 and now it will not power down from front panel, so when I do a hard power reset, system comes up for about a minute then freezes and admin console disconnects, Raidar can't see it anymore. I'm not sure what to do since I can't get it to stay on long enough to do any troubleshooting?

Hi Jake,

I think the best thing to do right now is to open a case through my.netgear.com. Was there any indication of a bad disk before you upgraded? Have you ever had this issue before? Upgrading and the device failing to boot?

Hi,

Even I have faced the same issue and nothing had worked in this case. I was not able to reinstall the OS via a pen drive as well.

The only option is replacement of the NAS drive.
