I recently had some issues loading apps on my readyNAS 102 so I decided to do an OS reinstall. I followed the procedure and it only seems to get to stage where the Raidar shows "installing" and never goes any further. I have tried factory defaults and OS reinstalls many times and no luck. Any help?

Have you tried testing the disks with WDC's lifeguard program (in a PC)?
You could use its "write zeros" diagnostic, which would also mean that the NAS would see unformatted disks w/o data on them.

Re: Ready NAS 102 wont install after OS reinstall
Disk 2 (the WD disk) has failed.
I would replace it with another WD RED disk. Or if you prefer a SeaGate NAS disk.

With regard to this, I suggest you to factory reset your RN102 then set it up from scratch. Kindly access and read this link as reference guide:

Re: Ready NAS 102 wont install after OS reinstall
I attempted to do this "again" and its the same result. After pushing the reset button with the NAS set to "factory default" Raidar shows "disks contain data" so I format the disk and then Raidar shows "installing" and it doesnt appear to proceed past this point.

Re: Ready NAS 102 wont install after OS reinstall
Thanks you all, I ran the WDC lifegaurd and the disk failed, not sure why. It was working fine until i tried to do the re-install. I installed another disk and all looks OK.
