ReadyNAS 102 and Squeezebox - are they compatible?
Hi, after purchasing a ReadyNAS 102 I have been adbvised by support that I can't install squeezeCenter on it to stream my music to my Squeezebox. Can anyone advise of a workaround or if this is correct?
Thanks!
Matthew

You can get the app here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Current-NETGEAR-and-Partners/Addons-available-For-R6/td-p/842756
For discussion of it see e.g. this thread: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Current-NETGEAR-and-Partners/General-discussion-on-LMS-for-OS6/td-p...

Re: ReadyNAS 102 and Squeezebox - are they compatible?
Thanks, I really appreciate your pointing me to the resources and discussion. I am brand new to NAS and don't want to corrupt a 'clean' machine by doing it wrong ... I wonder if you wouldn't mind treating me to a dummies guide to a few things please:
- the files are .deb which I am unfamiliar with, how do I install these on my ReadyNAS102? My laptop which I access the ReadyNAS102 is a Mac
- once installed, what would be the next stage? Once installed do I search for the ReadyNAS with my SqueezeBox Touch as a media device and connect them that way?
Thanks, Matthew
