ReadyNAS Duo V2/Logitech Media Server/RAIDiator v5.3.13

Hi,

Note to Netgear - your product support is so poor you're less likely to win returning customers than syphilis!

Before I bin the painfully dire contraption that is the ReadyNAS Duo V2 I thought I would ask if anyone knows if it is possible to load any version of Logitech Media Server on it using RAIDiator v5.3.13?  And are there any instructions on loading it? Netgear's lack of support of this product is only equalled by the pathetically poor software that is loaded on it.  I am aware that a number of versions of LMS were made to accompany the three chips which were the ReadyNAS Duo V2 but as Netgear has removed the information necessary to identify the chip in mine, I have no idea which it is.

HI..

Your Nas is ARM based..

It's simple to install LMS on it, i'm running  excactly the same  setup.

You can find it here:

https://www.mysqueezebox.com/download

install is pretty forward, you upload it from apps page on your nas.

Regards

Hans

Yeah, just remember... do NOT use chrome... if you do you get an error....

Use IE or try whatever.. I use IE..

I have tried a number of versions of LMS, old and recent, and get the same error message each time, which is: an unexpected server error occurred.

The legacy versions of LMS are here:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com

I read elsewhere from a Netgear employee that the most recent versions of LMS will only run if I migrate to the most recent operating system, i.e. away from RAIDiator which I would rather avoid.
