ReadyNas Pro Business Edition keeps rebooting every so often
My ReadyNas Pro Business Edition with 4.2.31 installed.
was trying to access a NAS share via windows 10 when all of a sudden my Nas rebooted. This has happened twice thAt I know of. When I look in the systems log I just have systems is up and my email alert just has the same thing "system is up".
The other odd thing is in Frontview it says I have to register my product again as if it was reset somehow. I tried to re-register it but Netgear website says my product is already registered.
I tried to load my system file via drop box, any help would be apreciated.

Re: ReadyNas Pro Business Edition keeps rebooting every so often
Can you post a screen shot of the Frontview page? You certainly should be able to click past any registration stuff.
On the main issue, it sounds like it could a software crash (perhaps due to failing hardware) or a power problem. Is your NAS protected by a UPS?

Can you try not plugging the NAS power into the UPS and see if you still have the problem?

FWIW, Netgear recommends not posting logs publically. There is some information leakage when you do that.
disk_smart.log: There are some issues with all the disks in disk_smart.log. Each one has some combination of reallocated sectors, command timeouts, and CRC errors. That includes disk 1, which appears to be new.
There are some ATA errors at the bottom, but I think they are older based on the disk power-hours-on and user.log (Oct 2017?).
System.log: Dropbox is crashing, and that appears to account for some reboots.

System rebooting...
You apparently reinstalled dropbox around this time, and it looks like you also manually restarted the NAS about 15:45 on 6 January.
I'm not seeing unexplained restarts in this span (5-6 January), but perhaps someone from Netgear might.

Re: ReadyNas Pro Business Edition keeps rebooting every so often
Yes I added a new disk1 to the raid as the old one failed.
Just to rule them out, I have removed Crashplan and Drop Box add-ons from the nas.
I also shutdown the nas, removed the disks and opened up the unit and gave it a thorough cleaning and I made sure the fans did not spin from the whole can of compressed air I pushed through them and the entire unit.
Any more help from netgear would be great.

Maybe take a fresh set of logs right after it happens again.
