ReadyNas duo v2 + Windows 8.1
Hello!
I have 8 Pc's on my network and all work correctly with Nas, recently i buy one more pc with Windows 8.1 and i Can't access NAS from this pc.
I try everyting, change permissions, reset permissions, reset ReadyNAS but I always have this message:
Nas is not accessible. may not have permissions to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. This user can not login because this account is currently disabled

Re: ReadyNas duo v2 + Windows 8.1
-what firmware are you running on the NAS
-is the Win 8.1 system in the same workgroup as the NAS
-is the Win 8.1 system using a microsoft log on or a local account logon?
-Is the Win 81. network connection classified as "private" or "public"?

Re: ReadyNas duo v2 + Windows 8.1
First of all you have a duo v1, not a v2. The labels are misleading - they provide info on minor hardware revisions, not the base platform type. See this for more info: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
Try opening cmd from win 8.1, and enter
net use * /delete
net use Z: \\nasipaddress\C /user:admin password
where nasipaddress is the IP address of the Duo and password is the admin password of the duo.
That command should map the NAS "C" volume to the Z drive letter. Let us know if it works (and if not, what error you get). Note the direction of the slashes, they matter.
