Re: Readynas 102 e-mail notifications

I fix the problem....

First i write a e-mail with yahoo.com and then i press automatic. I fill all the settings for yahoo.com emails. Then i change the e-mail from yahoo.com to yahoo.gr and i do the same for the username, i fill the password and now works fine! 🙂

Try taking the @yahoo.gr out of the user name (but leaving it in the email address).

Re: Readynas 102 e-mail notifications

Similar settings work for gmail, but I did have to adjust some security settings with google.

It's possible that you are running into something like that.  Hopeful another yahoo mail user will chime in.

One alternative is to get a gmail account, and use that to send the alert email to your yahoo mail.

Re: Readynas 102 e-mail notifications

Odd.

So the settings ( including the advanced settings) are now identical to those you had originally?

What happens if you enter the original settings again rather than using automatic, does it fail again?

Re: Readynas 102 e-mail notifications

Yes the settings are the same, but if i change the automatic settings and put the manual it falls! I do not understand it but with that way it works! 🙂
