Readynas Pro 6 undetected in Raidar
Hello,
I just setup a new Readynas Pro 6 with 2 new HDDs from Seagate, 3TB each.
In the lab all went fine. Then when I started it at the customer's the second HDD went dead and Raidar cannot see the Readynas although it is in the same subnet and I can access it through the configuration web page.
Any idea?
Thanks

Re: Readynas Pro 6 undetected in Raidar
You say that Raidar cannot see the Pro 6, but you access it through the configuration page. Are you entering the IP in the browser address field? If not, how are you accessing the configuration page.
Is there some firewall or block in the customer's network blocking RAIDar? Could RAIDar see the Pro 6 before the failure of the drive in bay 2?

Re: Readynas Pro 6 undetected in Raidar
That's even more complicated now. I brought my laptop to the customer's. I ran Raidar and it connected with the NAS ok. But the customer's PC did not.
Both my laptop and the customer's PC run Win7 Pro x64 Sp1. Both are on the same LAN subnet. Obviously something in his PC is blocking Raidar. Disabling the firewall didn't help.
