Woke up this morning to my ReadyNAS PRO 6 box not being responsive.  Did a hard reboot (held the power button in). To find it giving me an error of "Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk #1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,5,6,1,2.

Power off unit and removed drives (cleaned dust and such) and re-assembled unit.

Raid still not detecting volumes, wants me to create new array. Any suggestions...  and no, I do not have a recent backup.

Will be uploading logs for assistance.  Thanks for any feedback.

Suggestions on the best way to recover data or is that even a possibility?

It may be possible but with data recovery it's important to proceed carefully to maximise the chances of success.

You could try NETGEAR support or maybe try some 3rd party software.
