Update 6.4.2 wake-on-LAN issue

Hi, since updating to 6.4.2, I am unable to switch off Wake-on-Lan. I assume it is that feature as the network stays connected when switched off.

I've also noticed that http and https have been enabled, which i could have sworn I had the disabled before. (they arn't needed for logging in to the web admin page are they??)

anybody else have this problem?

Is it possible to ssh into it and disable the wake-on-lan there??

thanks

Can you clear your web browse cache (e.g. Temporary Internet Files), close your web browser then reopen the web admin page and see if you can change the settings?

Which web browser and version are you using?

Can you try a different web browser?

Also, if http isn't enabled for any shares, then enabling http/https as a service is fine.

At least one of http and https would be needed to be enabled for the web admin page to work.

You need the service for the web ui.

I'm not sure what you want to accomplish, perhaps you can clarify?

Talking about disabling the https service made the thread confusing, so I didn't realize you were talking about WoL.

You are saying that the system responds to WoL even when the check box is cleared?  Or that the check box won't clear (or won't stay cleared)?

Re: Update 6.4.2 wake-on-LAN issue

I havn't tested whether the wake-on-lan feature is actually enabled, my issue is that the LAN LEDs stay on when its switched off.

(I mentioned the http stuff as both those and the WOL were disabled before the update)

There were some issues reported in recent releases with the LAN LED status.  It might not have anything to do with WoL (I think you are jumping to a conclusion there - which might be right, but might not be).

Re: Update 6.4.2 wake-on-LAN issue

ok thanks, I mentioned before that i assumed it was WOL as the behavior is the same.
