Re: apt-get upgrade breaks duo?
apt-get upgrade is not supported, so don't do that.
readynas uses a customized kernel and many custom packages which can get overwritten if you do a global 'upgrade'.
you should only upgrade specific packages that you may have installed manually or that are not part of the core os.

Re: apt-get upgrade breaks duo?
Frontview requires the old libc which the apt-get upgrade replaces. It's possible an OS Re-install may be enough to fix the problem but it may not be in which case you can do a factory reset or see if support can help (fee would be involved and does depend on what commands you entered).
