kthread-data-b error
My ReadyNAS stop booting at 40% and console says "kthread-data-b".
Installed app is plex.
I have searched a sililar post here;
But the solution in the the thread is not clear.
I can not access ReadyNAS OS management screen from browser. And RAIDiator does not detect the target NAS. So I can not get log file.

Re: kthread-data-b error
Thanks.
After booting with read-only mode, resync automatically started.
I hope this will fix my problem.
I will report after resync completes.

Re: kthread-data-b error
After re-sync with read-only boot, I tried normal boot again. Error message still the same.
What should I do after re-sync with read-only boot?
Now second re-synctwith read-only boot is going on.

Re: kthread-data-b error
After the resync, try downloading the log zip file. I also recommend backing up your data.
- What firmware are you running?
- What apps/services are running?
- Are you seeing issues with disk health (look at the SMART log in the zip file)?

Re: kthread-data-b error
Thanks.
I have already downloaded logs.
Firmware: 6.7.5
Installed App: Plex Media Server
Service: SMB,AFP,ReadyDLNA,UPnP,HTTP,HTTPS
All disk health seems OK.

Re: kthread-data-b error
System log reports that schedule balance started while shutting down. Error may be caused by this.

Perhaps. Though it looks like there is lasting damage to the file system - which is why I recommended updating the backup.

Re: kthread-data-b error
Now second resync is copleted.
But read-only boot does not allow any other maintenance job (balance, defrag, scrub).
What else can I do except factory reset?

Re: kthread-data-b error
I'd do a backup now.
Then either use paid netgear support, or do the factory reset/restore data from backup.
