FVS318N Firmware Version 4.3.4-2 will NOT complete

I was having issues with the router dropping internnet connectivity.  Started once a week or so. Recently, most everyday.   Solution was to power off/on.   usually did this 3-4 times before unit stabilized and stayed on, until next day.

 

Thought I would do a firmware update to see if that solved my problem.  As per docimention, did a reboot first.  Applied update (hardwire).  Seemed to take, then connection dropped.  Docs anticipated about 10 min.  So waited 10 min or so and checked for test light.  Not lit.  So i tried to reconnect.  Could not.  Looked at unit, TEST was lit.  Waited 75 min.  Still lit.  Read a thread that indicated after tech help thought it was ok to power cycle.  Did that.  Still lit.  I cannot access the unit.  What next?

Welcome to the community!

Could you try to do factory default on device's panel, and then observe it?

Do you mean "factory reset' on hte back of the unit?  I cannot access the admin panel via browser.

Yes,on the back of device,have "RESET". Do factory default use it.

If the device can start,then upgrade firmware again.

Performed reset per documentation.  Waited 10 min.  TEST flashed once during  reboot.  TEST light still lit.  Web access  unavailable.  Any hope?
