Failed Application Control

Hello,
I am having the hardest time blocking websites using my UTM5 ProSecure router. I am trying to block all FTP/cloud sites, and have been able to successfully block dropbox by navigating to: Application Security>HTTP/HTTPS>URL Filtering - I then added *dropbox.com* to the blacklist.
I have tried to do this for box.com and drive.google.com and can't do it. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Please help.

Re: Failed Application Control

Since you have a UTM5, you should have posted your concern to http://forums.prosecure.netgear.com/

However, what is the current FW of your UTM5?

Just sharing... you may want to try these steps as well:

1. Click on Application Security>Application Control.
2. Select Yes on the "Do you want to enable Application Control?" then set Mode to Global then Apply.
3. On the Global Application Control Profile section, click Edit under Action
4. Under Categories, query for box.com and make sure to click the (+) symbol.
5. Repeat step 4 for drive.google.com
6. Once the 2 categories are list on the table, ensure that Policy is set to "Drop for all behaviors" then Apply.
7. This should start dropping traffic coming from box.com and drive.google.com.
8. In some instance, rebooting the Prosecure device is needed for blocking to take effect.
