Lost or Stolen FVS336gv2

Hi I think I have had a FVS336gv2 with the following serial number stolen (or I have lost it).    Can netgear track it for me using the MAC address, or at least post the MAC address so I can try to find a way to list it as stolen?

Product: FVS336Gv2
Serial Number: 2CH23634501C4
Country of Purchase: United States
Purchased on:   15/Jan/2014 Upload proof of purchase
Registered on: 15/Jan/2014

It doesn't look like preyproject.com can track netgear devices.

Hi adligo,

Welcome to the community! 🙂

I have checked the serial number you have provided and found out that it is registered under your name.  Kindly login to your MyNETGEAR account and you should be able to see it under your profile.  Use the same e-mail you have used to create your profile 'adligo' here in the NETGEAR community.

Hi adligo,

I just want to follow-up on this.  Were you able to login to your MyNETGEAR account and check the serial number of your FVS336Gv2 registered under your name?

Of course the serial number registered in my name!   I am asking for the mac address of the device, and wanting to know if you can help me find it when someone plugs it in!

Hi Adligo,

There is no such feature built in to the FVS. If you had DynDNS or similar set up you may be able to see find out the IP of the new location that way though.
