Use WAN port as LAN port
Without any input at all, my counterpart decided to purchase the NETGEAR ProSafe Gigabit Quad WAN SSL VPN Firewall SRX5308 to a replace a FVS318G because the site upgraded their Internet bandwidth. 4 WAN ports!?! Why when he knows we only need one 😞 So now my problem is that the site was using all 8 LAN ports and the SRX5308 only has 4 of them. It does, however, have 4 WAN ports. As you can probably guess, I'm curious now if the WAN ports can be configured as LAN ports? Would rather not add another switch. Thanks for any input you provide.
