airprint does not work using GS116Ev2
What am I doing wrong?
When connecting the printer (Brother MFC-J5320DW) to the router using the switch printing from an Iphone or Ipad airprint does not work.
When connecting the printer directly to the router, bypassing the switch, I can use the printer with airprint.
On Android I dont know how it is called, but we cant print when the printer is connected to the switch.
To me this seems to be something in the switch.
Can someone help?

Re: airprint does not work using GS116Ev2
Your switch is a 'Green Switch'. Means thats it has a advanced energy managament onboard (IEEE). The Orbi routers/satelliets do not work wel with this protocol. In fact not at all...
Or keep the printer connected to the router, or buy a cheap non managed/IEEE switch, or try do disable this 'green' features in the switch.

Re: airprint does not work using GS116Ev2
Thanks fort your reply.
I checked the setting for Power Saving and it was already disabled.
For your suggestion to insert a simple switch in the network to get this working is nog realy an option as I bought these switches to get iTV with CanalDigital working. This was advised by my ISP because they believe Netgear IGMP snooping works best with my router.
kind regards,
Patrick
