My WN3000RP which has worked perfectly for years suddenly stopped working. In an effort to clear it out and set it up as new I hit the factory reset button and reconnected it to my wifi network through mywifiext.net

All seemed to go smoothly until the last step where it said something to the effect of "try to connect a wireless device to the network".  I tried to connect my iPhone and my iMac wireless and both devices "crashed out" to a blank login page which said "captive.apple.com".

As I said I found two other people who had the same problems but those questions came up as "resolved" so I've started a new thread.

My router is a netgear WNDR3400v2 and as I said, the extender worked for years before suddenly stopping. When I set it up orginally I had no issue with the extra login request from captive.apple.com.

Any help would be amazing!!

Hallo @HHans,

und willkommen in der NETGEAR Community.

Welchen neuen Router hast Du in Betrieb genommen?
