A6100 setup

I bought this so that I can use my Wally Reciver to order movies and watch on demand through dish network. I have not set the minin adapter up yet. Do I need to use a computer to set it up or just plug it into the Wally? Does it require setting up or is it plug and play?

It won't work.

These USB devices are for connecting a Windows PC to the internet. They do not work with TVs and other stuff.

As the Data Sheet says:

System Requirements

• Intel® Pentium® class PC
• Available USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 slot
• Microsoft® Windows® 7, 8, 8.1, 10, XP, Vista®: (32/64-bit)

That is for operation, not setting up.
