A6210 Software Version 1.0.0.36 Disconnections
Hi Again
So I've updated Windows and decided to try .36 after the disaster that was .35
Good news the driver solved all the issues that I had with .35
Bad news is that I keep having issues with limited connectivity/ disconnections to the internet.
- Its not linked to heavy downloads even everday browsing has caused me issues
- I updated all my drivers etc and checked again with slimdriver that a member recommended
- Still having issues with the connection
So I have uninstalled Genie again along with the .36 driver and am using the driver that comes with Win 10.
The driver that comes with Windows is not perfect (It struggles to connect on start up) however the connection appears more robust than that of the netgear one.

Re: A6210 Software Version 1.0.0.36 Disconnections
Hi,
Not sure if I have the same problem as you but I get disconnected about 30min-1 hours after I've turned my computer on. The A6210 goes into some "installing"-mode and I lose internet during this period. Do you have the same?

Sure bet of updating to new driver is after all traces of older driver is removed(deleted) using control panel 'programs & features'

Hi,
The dropouts appeared to be random
I could have long sessions connected then sudden disconnects
I've also had issues where I've just turned on the PC

Hi,
I'm not 100% on your statement.
"Sure bet of updating to new driver is after all traces of older driver is removed(deleted) using control panel 'programs & features'"
I fully removed all traces of .35 shortly after they released it (via control panel I believe but it was a long time ago).
I have been using Windows own driver up until I installed creators update where I tried v.36
- I am now accessing the internet using Windows 10 built in driver

If you're connected to a hotspot or domain network, contact the network administrator. Otherwise: 1. Unplug or turn off the device. 2. After all the lights on the device are off, wait at least 10 seconds. 3. Turn the device back on or plug it back into the power outlet. To restart a router or access point that has a built-in battery, press and quickly release the Reset button.

Re: A6210 Software Version 1.0.0.36 Disconnections
Hi James,
I've looked for the NETGEAR folder its only got my NAS software in so I don't really want to remove that.
No Applications - Only after installing the Standalone drivers does a Netgear genie listing appear in programs
I continued DC/ lose the internet whilst using the standalone drivers - therefore I have switched back to the MediaTek, Inc. Windows 10 drivers
