i have loaded the cd and the software never resulted in an internet connection. I attempted to uninstall thru the control panel, but when I attempt to uninstall the software goes thru the process of preparing to install and then gives me an error 1628: failed to complete installation. I have rebooted and taken cd out, unplugged the device. Attempted to reload cd and then it gives me options to upgrade existing or to remove existing. Neither option works and also ends up giving me error 1628. I'm not tech savvy.
Try to use the driver from support site to install the adapter. If same thing happens, I suggest you contact support team if the device is newly purchased.
