A7000 speed issues
Hi.. i have the Nighhawk AC1900 wifi usb adapter (a7000) and I have a R7000 Nighhawk router.
i have it setup on a tested usb 3 port.. but it seems to be limiting he speed to about 256Mbit (32MB) per secont tranfer speeds locally.. I am connected at about 1000Mbit and i know will never get the max but i would think should at least get half... any idea ? see pic

Where did you get the idea that you would connect at faster than 256 Mbps?
You might do well to do some research into the wifi speeds that you can get with different wifi devices. There is an old saying that I just made up, lies, damn lies, and wifi statistics!
One thing you could do is to ensure that you don't have QoS enabled. You don't need it at that speed.

Re: A7000 speed issues
Same issue here, even sitting next to the router. Cannot get faster than 240 Mbps on a Gigabit service. Something has to be wrong here.

Re: A7000 speed issues
Did some troubleshooting. Check your router to see if WMM is disabled under the QoS settings. Mine was disabled. I re-enabled and speeds jumped remarkably.
