What is this "cradle"?

Re: Help with provided cradle

Guess that's the stand with the USB 3.0 extension cable allowing to set-up the adapter some inches away from the computer. As the AC1200 and the AC1900 are USB 3.0 devices, and not talking about the possible differences of having a heavy (big mass) ground for the radio antennae, and as long as the thing does not tilt, why not.

Standard support answer will be to use the equipment which come with the product of course.

http://my.netgear.com/ -> Login -> My Support -> [Contact Support] .... and follow the guidance.

Re: Help with provided cradle

So then the cradle itself not THAT important and the cradles of both models not really different?

Re: Help with provided cradle

Essentially these are cradles are stands and USB 3.0 extension.

As I said, there might be a marginal difference in the signal level/quality.
