I am trying to connect a WNCE 3001 On a Mac notebook, however the Mac notebook does not have an ethernet connection. Is it possible to connect the adapter to the notebook without the ethernet connection?

The WNCE 3001 is basically an Ethernet to Wi-Fi adapter. While there are Ethernet adapters available for your Mac, why not just use the Wi-Fi built into the Mac? It's likely superior to the WNCE 3001.
