Installing Netgear on Windows XP
I loaded Windows XP Pro x64 on a computer. I tried to install Netgear 3100 and 4100 and though they seemed to install they wouldn't work.
In device manager there is a yellow question mark beside Netgear. Clicking on Netgear open a windows that says "no drivers have been installed for this device".
Nothing I do gets the wireless to work. Thanks.

Re: Installing Netgear on Windows XP
usually these device need the wireless adapter unplugged before install.
Did you install and then plug them in? or did you do the install with them plugged in.
Another quesion, if its a fresh install of XP, was it updated prior to the install?
I'd uninstall your driver, get windows updated, and then retry the install.
