Issue with A1900 Nighthawk WiFi adapter

It just got delivered today, I set it up, it worked for about ten minutes and then stopped working entirely. The LED won’t turn on, Ive tried different USB ports, different computers, with and without he extension cable, and it just won’t work. What is going on and can I fix this hunk of trash?

What happen when you installed it? Does the computer detect the adapter? I suggest to open this KB link for reference: https://kb.netgear.com/20635/
