My A6210 WiFi connection is unstable

It says I have a good connection but my megabits per second fluctuates, says 100 MBs then drops to 1MBS

What is the operating system of the computer? How far is it from the router. Please ensure that you have the latest firmware on your router and updated driver for your adapter.
