USB A610 has error media disconnected

I was running good until a couple of weeks ago.  I'm getting an error in CMD when I try to renew my IP address that says media disconnected.    

What does this mean?  I'm plugged into my USB slot , I'm connected to my wireless modem/router but I Can't get on line

Lets bump this up.  It's been over a month and no help whatsoever and guess what? I still can't on line

2. What adapter driver version installed on your computer?

3. How far is the computer from the main router?

4. Do you have other wireless devices that works with the router?
