WNA3100 Genie won't appear anymore, no more connection
Hi there,
I have been using WNA3100 for a couple of months. Just the other day, I opened my laptop and I had no connection. Whereas the LED on the usb-stick is normally bright and blinks, it is now dim and doesn't blink anymore. When I try to open the genie it doesn't, but the process does run in the background. I didn't install updates or anything, this just happened out of nowhere.
I have rebooted my computer, and I also reinstalled the genie. However, when I tried to reinstall it, the setup program asked me to plug in the usb-stick. When I did, the set-up program got stuck in the screen "detecting adapter". I left it for a couple of minutes, but it didn't detect it. There is nothing wrong with my usb-port. I have a Asus Ultrabook running Windows 8.
Does anybody know what to do?
Regards,
Fred
