The adapter won't connect to the router after i click on the button on the adapter. It says i should click the connect button on the router within 2 minutes, but when i do that it just times out. When i click on home in the genie it looks like it is connected to the router but with no internet. I do not have a netgear router.
You are trying to connect to the router via the WPS setup. Please check if you have an option to enter the password or network key instead. That should connect without the WPS setup.
