a6100 & a6150
hi,
i have an hp laptop running win10. i had a a6150 dual band adapter in it, which stopped "working". the blue light flashs slowly, and i get a second wifi adapter dropdown in windows but get "no sites found". i've tried uninstall reinstall numerous times with no success.
i found i had an a6100 dual band adapter from an old laptop, so i installed it. it had never been on the current machine before. it worked right away....yippee! about 5 mins later i get a dialog saying we have an update, from .32 to .36, do you want it. i said yes, silly me. after the update the adapter stopped working. i tried uninstall/reinstall, win10 shutdown, etc.
any idea what's going on? it strikes me at a minimum the uninstall is not really completely removing everything.
suggestions will be much appreciated.
