2 extenders won’t take router password

I have 2 net gear extenders which worked fine until recently but now they say the password is incorrect. Have done factory resets, restarted WiFi, checked router password but nothing helps. Most of house is a black spot with no WiFi. Can anyone help? Please?

what router are you connecting them to?

Are you setting them up using WPS, using the app, or using the installation assistant?

Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
1.4gig download/50mbps upload
