AC1200 EX61100 wifi password not accepted

I have the extender, and I used it fine with my BT internet, set it up by WPS pairing and then just loggged in to the "_EXT_2G" or 5G version with the same password as I log in to the BT wifi.  Then I got a new internet provider (Shell).

I tried carrying out the same steps but it says password incorrect (it's definitely not). So I have doe a reset through the button on the side, and still no joy.

I could do with some step by step help to get this solved as I'm going insane. Thanks

Ok, in fact it seems that despite not finding the answer prior to posting, as soon as you enter your post, it suggests other solutions. I followed this to the letter after a rest and didn't use the WPS thing. The initial netgear extension wifi before any pairing and the genie wizard thing has worked. Shame it was hard work, feel for people who ar not technically able to do this sort of stuff!

No help required now. Thanks anyway!
