AC1200 Extender says I’m not connected but I am
My AC1200 extender is connected but showing week security. When I try to connect to mywifiext to change security it tells me im not connected but im showing a connection to the extender via wifi . Please help Thanks

1. what extender is it? (hint, ac1200 is a speed, not a model)
2. what's telling you the security is weak? a notice from ios? A notice in android/windows?
3. what router is it connected to?
4. did you set it up using wps or using the installation assistant?
