AC1200 WiFi extender - unable to set up
Hi good people
I've just bought the EX6110 but am unable to set it up. Here's where I'm at;
1/ the extender is plugged in and the power light is green.
2/ I can see NETGEAR_EXT in my list of available networks
3/ there's no WPS button on my router so having to go down the Installation Assistant route.
3/ when i connect to NETGEAR_EXT a web browser screen launches but then says it can't reach the site
4/ I've added the relevant URL of the site page it's meant to go to to my local network in my Internet Settings area
5/ I've rebooted the laptop I'm trying to connect on.
...but still I'm getting a message saying the site can't be reached.
So, I'd be really grateful for some help on what to do next.
Many thanks
Jan

Re: AC1200 WiFi extender - unable to set up
UPDATE...
I've now been able to access the site by using a private browsing session.
The next screen which appeared was for USERNAME and PASSWORD, which I don't have so just resubmitted the site address and was then able to connect to the router.
Took a while and seemed to be a lot more convoluted than it should be but got there in the end.
